Kinda lookin’ like a chump
Courted the new czar
No praise was too far.
He sided with Putin in 2018
For U.S. spies, a little mean…
The Ukraine incursion:
‘Genius’ in Don’s version.
They met in Alaska a month past
‘Moscow, next?’ Putin asked.
The president of the USA
would constantly say:
“Ukraine started this awful war-
Ending it is my chore!
Putin will deal with me.
Both countries shall be free!”
Then, some tribulations:
Flagrant violations
Of NATO airspace,
Trump made an about-face:
“Russia’s a paper tiger,
They aren’t fighters.
Ukraine, take back all your land
To give weapons we’ll be glad!”
Talk about a 180…
It’ll stick, maybe?
Could be the ‘madman theory’
Either way, I’m weary.
